Healthy Community Committee

The Healthy Community Committee is a Council committee that works to enhance Port Coquitlam’s quality of life by nurturing the health and well being of citizens, their neighbourhoods and environments. The committee is responsible for matters related to:

  • Achievement recognition
  • Civic festivals and cultural events
  • Recreation facility maintenance and life cycle improvements
  • Leisure activities
  • Cemetery operations
  • Open space/sport field planning and maintenance
  • Heritage programs
  • Corporate energy conservation
  • Liaison with a wide scope of community groups

New Rec Complex Project

Help decide the future of youth programs and services at the NEW Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex (2150 Wilson Ave.)
Youth are being consulted throughout the design and construction process and a working group is being put together to consult with City Council, staff members and community groups!
